Geese
The majority of these photographs were taken at Slimbridge in the Spring of 2009. Most of the others were taken at Mersehead and Caerlaverock in Scotland.

Bar-headed Goose (Anser indicus). Bar-headed Geese nest mainly on the Tibetan Plateau during the Summer. They migrate over the Himalayas to winter in South Asia and are the world's highest flying birds.
